The “12th Five-Year Plan” period is a key period for our country’s complete construction of a relatively well-off society, and is a period to storm the fortifications of deepening reform and opening up, and accelerating the transformation of economic development methods. Initiating the new picture of the scientific development view and wresting new victories in the complete construction of a relatively well-off society, endows philosophy and social science with new historical missions and new issues of the times, the tasks of philosophy and social science are even more onerous, responsibilities even more major. In order to do philosophy and social science research work in the next five years well, on the basis of the “Outline of the 12th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development” and the “Outline of the National “12th Five-Year Plan” Period Cultural Reform and Development Plan”, this Plan is formulated.
